Weston M6 – Creating over 2,900 new jobs within Crewe

Join the conversation

We’re creating a vision for Weston M6, a new state-of-the-art, sustainable business park, on land allocated for employment use within the Cheshire East Local Plan, between David Whitby Way and the Shavington Bypass (A500).

Our plans will complement the emerging neighbourhood within the Basford East area of Crewe, by creating thousands of jobs for local people and delivering accessible green spaces for the community to enjoy.

Weston M6 will help meet the significant demand for employment space nationally and deliver new jobs and economic growth for Crewe. Our plans will deliver a mix of offices, logistics and light manufacturing uses.

Before submitting a planning application later this year, we’d like to invite you and members of the local community to join our conversation and have your say about the plans for this site.

Location

Ideally placed to meet local priorities and attract investment

The size of the site and its proximity to the M6, with ready access to both the Midlands, Wales, and North of England, is a highly appealing combination for employers. We understand their needs and can deliver what they require.

The location is ideally situated to take advantage of these opportunities, offering dual carriageway access to Junction 16 of the M6 in under 10 minutes

Bordered by the West Coast Main Line to the west, the Stoke-on-Trent / Nottingham rail line to the north, the A500 to the south, and a forthcoming residential neighbourhood to the east.
